Hmmm I've got some red babylegs but they are a girly red rather than primary red IYSWIM

Onlyaphase · 01/02/2009 20:27

Gap are good for these

AnarchyAunt · 01/02/2009 20:29

Cut the feet off the tights.

monkeysmama · 01/02/2009 20:32

Thanks for your suggestions. The 2 H&Ms I've looked in don't seem to have them for babies...? And Next only do them as part of outfits - I may be wrong but the ones I have seen have all been like that. Gap I haven't checked. Baby legs - are they the kind of tights? I've never tried them - are they good and would they be suitable under a dress instead of tights (she hates tights because they make her feet slippy on our wooden floors while she's trying to walk)

pumpkin patch. or ebay?

monkeysmama · 01/02/2009 20:34

If I cut the feet off tights will they not curl up at the ends? I wonder. She has some cool tights.

Ah, in that case, put socks with the little gripper things on the soles over the tights. Gap socks are best for this

fymandwhenisthisbabycoming · 01/02/2009 20:34

Gap - have loads of colours, bought some for DN for xmas, they also have matching long sleeve tops

AnarchyAunt · 01/02/2009 20:36

We cut the feet off tights when they got too short and then put socks with grippy soles on her feet, with the tights tucked in so they don't curl. Or you could just put the grippy socks on over the tights?

monkeysmama · 01/02/2009 21:10

Are Huggalugs as good as babylegs?

mother care had some lovely funky stripey leggings a few weeks ago, my DD lives in them... and as its so cold, wears them under her jeans too

I got grey, navy and orange for 6 month old dd in H&M today. They also had black and pink. Also monsoon do leggings for babies, we have some brighter colours from there.
