What style of knickers should I buy?

I only care about what they look like with clothes on, as I have children instead of a sex life. And comfort of course, so thongs are out. I have good legs and bum so don't mind high cut at the sides but I have a big flabby post kids tummy so suspect I need higher cut at the front.Sigh

And what fabric is best? I usually buy 100% cotton for comfort but then they go all baggy. Baggy, grey knickers.....mmmm....so sexy

And preferably from M&S as I have a gift card

Thank you oh wise mumsnetters

M&S cotton high leg are good IME.

Any 'short' style (low leg, low waist) horrendous IME.

Was going to start a thread about it the other day as I wondered if it was just me, but decided not to as wouldn't have been able to detail the problems accurately without serious TMI issues.

oh go on, Mrs SB, don't hold back.....odd shaped arses, vast uncontrolled tummies, we have them all here

No MrsSB - I started a thread about this a while ago (but didn't get many replies).

I find "short" style ones v. unflattering too - and I am an 8-10. They make me look huge and yet that's all there is in the shops.

I despaired and bought m&s 5 pack cotton high leg ones again.
