pre kids, when I bought something, I'd take it home and instantly try it on with everything else I owned, try it with different shoes, bags etc...

Just generally prance about in front of the mirror, and pull out everything else in my wardrobe to see what matched the item I'd just bought.

NOW!!!!! When I get home the bag is still under the buggy two days later and it seems a chore to put the new item on a hanger.

No wonder I don't buy stuff as often as I used to!

But I miss that sometimes.

Not a moan at all, just suddenly had a very strong memory from 7 yrs ago before I ever got pregnant, and had all the time in the world to colour co-ordinate my wardrobe etc.

I miss taking loads of stuff into the changing room just to try. With 3dc inc 1 in a buggy that's just too much effort.

That's a crucial part of the clothes-buying experience!
