We should have a children's clothes topic, you know.

i just got one in the boots sale for ds2 for £3.25
it's lovely too, reduced from £13.

ChasingSquirrels · 29/01/2009 17:57

primark, matalan, tesco

M&S have very good value ones and have worn beautifully

Lizzzombie · 29/01/2009 18:00

Dunhelm Mill have got kids ones reduced from £8.99/£10.99 to £2.99/£3.99
Nice big hooded fluffy ones. Makes 2yo DS look a bit like a pimp!

petalpower · 29/01/2009 18:21

Yes I had one for my son (age 8) from Dunelm too - lovely blue and red striped cosy fleece material. Was certainly under a tenner.

Asda.

paddingtonbore · 29/01/2009 18:27

definitely matalan - both cheap and nice
(only located our matalan the week after I spent £15 on DD's dressing gown )

newlysinglemummy · 29/01/2009 18:33

Asda or primark about £8. I got dd a lovely warm fleece one from asda.

NilDesperandum · 29/01/2009 18:35

NAB - how old is your DS?

eNABlemetobebetter · 29/01/2009 21:08

He is 3 but very tall.

I think DS' old one will be around that age - tbh he hardly wore it, its very good quality from Boots, navy blue. Could send it to you for the cost of postage, but can't confirm actual size until the morning.

CioccolataCalda · 29/01/2009 21:28

BHS?

eNABlemetobebetter · 30/01/2009 07:51

Thank you Flier.

I asked in BHS, CioccolataCalda, but the rather snotty assistant told me they don't sell them at this time of year.

Isn't it rubbish? Actually I remember trying to buy a swim suit in December once and that seemed impossible too.

Went in to our BHS yesterday and it looked remarkably empty . What's going on there I wonder?

We bought a blue fluffy dressing gown there before Xmas with simple white footballs on and has been fab except DS has burnt a hole in the back of it and it looks a bit sorry now. TMI?

Dare I suggest the White Company or Littlewoods Catalogue?

Just tried Asda and they only sell them at Christmas. I told her kids are cold all year but it obviouslt reached her ears as I want to put my kids in the oven.

Will check out the link and the other suggestions. Thank you.

Primark had some when I went in last week. Looked lovely too.

eNABlemetobebetter · 30/01/2009 19:06

DH got one from Tesco today and DS2 is thrilled with it.

Thanks for all the ideas.
