Something like this if you are large of nork and short (as am I) you need something that will emphasise your waist a bit.

Or this, you can always take it up a bit if it is too long.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 28/01/2009 12:19

No reason just a whim

I usually wear knee length a line skirts/crop cardi/t shirt kinda thing, or jeans/tunic

I love the dorothy perkins ones!!!

Drum · 28/01/2009 16:22

I feel your pain, boysarelikedogs.

What about this? www.wallis-fashion.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId= 20551&storeId=12557&categoryId=140443&parentcategoryrn=45258&productId=950423&langId=-1

It has the same vibe(ish!) going on as the dress you love, but a much better neckline for big norks.

Drum · 28/01/2009 16:23

Oh, and it would show off your legs too as it's in petite.

ScummyMummy · 28/01/2009 16:37

That's a really nice dress, drum.

samsonara · 28/01/2009 16:38

The first two ranting linked are better for the figure you describe and the blue one is nice. I'm not sure about the third one with the frilly sleeves as they can make you seem wider and with a biggish bust may make you look top heavy. Drumslinked dress would work, the side black panels should be slimming and the gathers at the top should take a bit of norkage without it looking to tight there, I think with shift dresses if they are not cut well and you are not wearing the right bra your bust could look unflattering.

HolyGuacamole · 28/01/2009 16:47

The M&S mock wrap one is nice as is the Wallis one, both would look great with opaques and cute boots....are the boots flat?

Lulumama · 28/01/2009 16:48

i have just ordered the M&S wrap dress and mary jane shoes. it is coming on saturday. i will let you know what it is like!

ladycornyofsilke · 28/01/2009 16:49

Don't fancy yours much boys. Thode Dorothy Perkins ones are luverly though.

ladycornyofsilke · 28/01/2009 16:49

Leeza2 · 28/01/2009 16:55

Drum · 28/01/2009 17:29

Leeza2, I am sure you must be right!

YeahBut · 28/01/2009 17:32

shirtdress better for the norks and waist emphasis

MamacitaGordita · 29/01/2009 14:31

Oooh that blue Dotty P dress is nice and looks stretcy enough to bf in (my current criteria!)- good price too! I need to stop coming on the Style board it's making me shop! Lulu I want to hear how your M&S dress and shoes work out!!

This dress would be good for boob flattery and waist emphasis but it's v pricey
