i have lots of lovely lotions and potions from christmas/birthday.

so far i have had a couple of baths with oils/bubbles but don't think i will get to use the face packs till spring!

do people really use a face pack every week?

I can't remember when I last used one - a few years ago I think

mollyroger · 25/01/2009 18:51

never - I once suffered a severe allergic reaction to one which 'burned' my face, so never again!
I looked like this

now if I do use one, I make my own (honey and oatmeal and strawberry is v easy and delicious effective.)

nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 25/01/2009 18:51

I used to use them weekly - the last time i did one was the day i left work on maternity leave for my dd over 6 years ago

ladycornyofsilke · 25/01/2009 18:55

Weekly.

bodiddly · 25/01/2009 18:56

not for many many years!

dietstartstomorrow · 25/01/2009 18:56

every couple of weeks - I had one today

nkf · 25/01/2009 18:57

I have them if I ever have a facial. But I don't bother usually. I don't rate them.

zanz1bar · 25/01/2009 19:01

mollyroger if i add an egg to your face pack would it make a good muffin/cake?

OP posts:
pavlovthecat · 25/01/2009 19:03

try to do them every over week, but more like once a month.

ladycornyofsilke · 25/01/2009 19:03

I think they make my skin look brighter. Didn't bother in my yoof though!

crokky · 25/01/2009 19:05

I have never used a face pack ever!

What is it supposed to do?

Lizzylou · 25/01/2009 19:17

About once a week, sometimes twice

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 25/01/2009 19:20

exfoliate twice a week and face pack once a week. I do them whilst DCs are in the bath. I am in the room anyway and it only takes 3 minutes to work its magic

mollyroger · 25/01/2009 19:36

zanzibar - no, you'd need flour as well

seriously, it is a fab face pack!

mrsseanbean · 25/01/2009 23:29

Very rarely, I see them by the till in Boots from time to time and buy one when looking particularly bluerghh on impulse in the pathetic hope it will cure everything.
Last used about a year ago IIRC.
