Where's the best place to get measured?

When I was pregnant M&S seems a bit random, are they really the best place? Is there anywhere else that's any good??

bravissimo is the best IMO

BitOfFun · 24/01/2009 22:17

Agree- anywhere but M&S! I speak as a professional

gemmummy · 24/01/2009 22:18

bravissimo is the best by far.

Rigby & Peller are renowned for this service. They stock all sizes and can help/support any shape.

If you are looking for a cheaper option then Bravissimo will suffice.

bravissimo

I used to think John Lewis were okay but it varies depending on the fitter

NotADragonOfSoup · 25/01/2009 07:55

I had a fab fitter in House of Fraser this week. I agree that it does all depend on the fitter.

I went to Rigby and Pellar once. They got my size right without even measuring. Best bra I ever had.

In comparison M&S and John lewis weren't that great, they weren't very hands on. The ladies in R&P aren't at all prissy and made me feel at ease.

the HoF lady didn't measure me at all either. Looked, made her "guess" and then fitted each style of bra independently using her guess as a starting point (each style/make can fit differently. Even the colour makes a difference in some cases!). I was very impressed, if a little horrified at the size I came out with.
