It's probably half the price.

So why don't we use it?

I'd hazard a guess (but could be wrong) that mens hair dye could be a little more harsh as they don't expect the average man to be heat styling daily so they don't have to factor that in.

Sun In is not a dye, it's a bleach. It doesn't add color; it just lightens hair.
