Timberland boots - sizes and buying from their website

There's a pair of Timberland boots on their website, which I haven't seen available elsewhere (live in the middle of nowhere!) but I'm not sure about Timberland UK sizes - I've heard that they're often quite big, can anyone confirm that? I've been a size 6 all my life, but am occasionally a size 7 these days.

I'm also not sure about ordering from the website, in case I have to pay huge amounts of P&P to return them if they don't fit - does anyone have any experience?

I found some boots I loved on the website and then bought them reduced in the sale in the RL shop!

I am a size 6, but sometimes larger, and I got the size 6, which fit nicely.

Thanks TillyMint. I don't think I'm going to be able to find them in the RL shop, so I reckon I'm just going to order them (possibly in a size 6.5). DH is really worried that if they don't fit I'll have to spend a fortune sending them back although I'm sure when I've ordered stuff online in the past, returns are covered by the company. Or am I going mad?
