Or is all that just for teens?

If not, any idea where can I get one?

I saw a lovely cashmere one in the Brora sale last week but the MN thought it was 'fugly' (IIRC) & wildly expensive. I thought it was nice. Will try to find the link anyway.

norksinmywaistband · 23/01/2009 10:10

Accessorise have got some nice ones

snowleopard · 23/01/2009 10:11

Slouchy beanies at accessorize (probably some in the sale now too). I know because I wanted a new non slouchy beanie and there weren't any!

TsarChasm · 23/01/2009 10:33

Oh thanks all. I think they're v sweet and being looser won't squash hair down too much.

Mrs SB - I liked that hat and told you to buy it!! Bargain cashmere, what's not to like?

Yes, I was going to recommend Accessorise, saw some similar things there, but a while ago.

mrsseanbean · 23/01/2009 10:44

You and I both Jules, but we were in the minority I think! I may still get it though.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 23/01/2009 14:43

Mrs SB - go get your Brora hat!!! Did you buy anything in the end?

Mamazon · 23/01/2009 14:45

im nowhere near a teen and i wear hats all teh time in winter.
i have a black one with sequins, a white one with a flower, a black crochet one with a bow, and my fave is a big green one which everyone hates but me.

get one. they look great, keep you really warm and protect your hair.

TsarChasm · 23/01/2009 16:26

I got one! Only a cheapy one in Asda to see how I get on.

I really like it and dc said it looked nice. Loved the way my ears kept warm! I don't usually wear hats, but I think I will wear this one a lot for the school run.

I was looking for one of these to and wondering if I was too old - does anyone have a link to the accessorise ones?

mrsseanbean · 23/01/2009 17:03

Hi Mrs JS. I have so far got a cheaper notebook as even I [stationery nut of the universe] couldn't justify the cost of the Smythson one. I still have cash in the kitty though and am eyeing up the Brora hat. Not one to make decisions in a hurry as you'll have guessed! (Also apologise for hi-jack!)

mrsseanbean · 23/01/2009 17:04

TsarChasm - glad you got your hat, sounds great. You'll be a hat convert in no time.

BonsoirAnna · 23/01/2009 17:08

I have a raspberry coloured one, with a matching scarf and gloves. Lovely and very cosy.

TsarChasm · 23/01/2009 17:14
