Feeling fat and fed up appearance-wise since having DD.

I'm working on the fat, but I'd appreciate your brutal words on how to improve the rest of me so have added a pic on my profile for a limited time only

I'm here quite a lot but I've changed my name for this (wimp!)

Please can you help me to improve. I should say, my hair is all one shade of dark brown atm as has been dyed since this pic was taking.

Thanks!

There's nowt wrong with you!!!! Have a haircut and a pamper to make you feel better, but I can't see anything terrible!

Apart from you look very pale, like has been said. It makes you look a bit ill - or exhausted!!

You have lovely skin and beautiful bone structure as others have pointed out. Hair looks shiny with natural wave, but maybe a bit curtainy with the centre parting if you haven't got time to style it - and guessing with a new baby that might be the case.

I wouldn't do anything overly radical with the hair but maybe a few softer caramel shades closer to the face to warm you up and maybe move the parting - a subtle makeover.

Wilfsell, Anthea Turner

Am a bit scared of short hair though as like a bit of length to hide my double chin. I did have it short at Uni though and it was nice (but I was much thinner then).

Thanks MAS, that's really nice of you (not sure I believe it, but still )

You have a lovely face, amazing cheek bones and beautiful skin. Don't be hard on yourself at all.

You do however, need a decnt hair cut! How about a sweeping fribge? A few layers and some warm highlights, and a bit of nivea/dove tan mouisturiser on the face will sort the paleness out.

lovelysongbirdie · 22/01/2009 21:37

i like your hair long.
i wouldn't cut it.

if anything i'd grow the fringe bit out.

well yes they are orange and scary!
however, they will be able to find the right colour for you. also the compacts aren't to dark anyway.

i have the rose one but i have blonde hair so not sure what you would get.

Am going to book a haircut and seek out some make up tomorrow.
