Boden Bow Ballet Pumps - width

Hello I finally manged to get a pair of these in my size (37) in the zebra print.

www.boden.co.uk/sale/col.asp?styid=AR366&segname=Women&segid=6&gpname=Shoes&desname=Bow+Ballet+Pumps &gpid=18&gen=&col=ZEB

I just want to wear them with jeans in every day life (out of work).

Sometimes I am a 37, sometimes a 38.

These have arrived and whilst they fit lenght ways, they are tight width wise.

I was wondering whether anyone else had these and whether they give, or whether they are uncomfortable/narrow?

I know they are in the sale but they are still £40 which is pretty much the most I would pay for flat everyday shoes. I dont want to buy them and be unable to wear them.

They do have a 38 too but I think its more a width problem.

Thanks

Hi I had the same problem - my regular size = 38 was too tight so I returned them and ordered the 39 - perfect fit.
Also it being winter feet are a tad smaller when its cold - must have room for expansion if it ever gets warmer!!!

Ah thank you Ruby, I will order the 38 and give them a try.

oh no, the 38 are too big. I have already returned the 37. I might have to give up or try to narrow my feet.

I have just ordered some of these, so I hope they fit. I find Boden shoes are generally quite narrow, and I don't think I have particularly wide feet at all.

Pamelat, have you tried French Sole for zebra print ballet pumps? They do several styles and if you look on the website here you will find advice about the best ones to fit wider feet. I have shoes from here and wide feet and I find they are perfect .

Alternatively, can also recommend Repetto ballet pumps (there were some in the Toast sale at £50) as being great for wider feet as they are very supple, soft leather.

I love those Repetto ones but they are too expensive for me. I could just about stretch to £50 in the sale, will have a look/

Was not overly keen on the French sole ones, but thank you anyway

Mine have arrived and I'm not sure at all. They are extremely tight and I have already sized up. I usually wear a 36 but I always get a 37 from Boden. I can't possibly get a 38 or they will be far too long. I think they will stretch if I try to wear them in a bit but my DH has been chortling since I opened the box. What's wrong with zebra print anyway? I might send them back so I don't have to listen to his thoughts every time I wear them.

My Dh didnt like them either but I think that they are lovely. (Just far too narrow)
