Here

I would have to go for the yellow.

Have been hipping and hamming about it all season. Was let down by Toast last week who couldn't fulfil my order, so am still dress-less.

TIA.

brimfull · 19/01/2009 13:37

meh

it's ok

do you suit yellow???

MrsTittleMouse · 19/01/2009 13:37

Lovely - but would yellow work with your skin tone?

squeaver · 19/01/2009 13:37

Like it but not in the yellow I'm afraid (but that's my colouring)

norksinmywaistband · 19/01/2009 13:38

I have in black and it is a lovely dress, if yellow is a colour you wear go for it - they have free returns at the moment, so I would order and see what you think.

mrsseanbean · 19/01/2009 13:39

Well here is an interestsing thing. I don't particularly like or dislike yellow. A few seasons ago I bought a yellow cardigan as it was ridiculously cheap in the sale. Everytime I wear it I get positive comments.

So, either people are unable to ignore me because I stand out like a beliesha beacon - or it does suit me!

i ordered that full price but sent it back as the ruffle just looked a bit too little girly/frumpy.

Must say i find a lot of boden stuff is not cut for women with boobs.

sammysam · 19/01/2009 13:40

Oh bum-that would be the dress i have been looking for-but yellow would not suit me

mazzystartled · 19/01/2009 13:41

the colour is the only thing i like about it
i think it's a bit frumpy
sorry

higgle · 19/01/2009 14:37

I think this one was marked in an earlier thread last year as being most likely to be available in large quantities in the sale, but if you like it and it suits you why not?
.. I've got my eye on the new one that is widely subject to derision at the moment and will be looking for a bargain come the Summer Sale.

Ruby2shoes · 19/01/2009 14:50

I have it in the prune and its lovely.
Quite low cut and a better fit if you are smallish of boob! Fits a bit like a jumper and then gently drapes.

JumpingDizzy · 19/01/2009 14:51

I think it's lovely, go for it.

mrsseanbean · 19/01/2009 14:53

Ruby - how is it for sizing? Generous/ small/ normal?

OP posts:
Ruby2shoes · 19/01/2009 15:05

Mrs I would say smallish so if you are between sizes go for the smaller option.

(worked for me - I spent ages reading the reviews)

I meant the larger - duh!!!

I have a fabulous yellow dress but in general I think it is a very difficult colour to get right unless you are Mediterranean or Asian skinned.
