Funky mens coat?

DH wants a funky coat but there only seems to be leather jackets that are too 'fitted' (he has a bit of a beer belly - a gorgeous beer belly, but it's there and it doesn't suit tight jackets!!) or smart coats that he thinks are too "public school boy" - his words, not mine ladies!!!

His favourite clothes usually come from Monsoon for Men and Boden, but they haven't got anything at the mo.

Any ideas?

People mock but still I persist ... .

Have you had a look at All Saints? here

I thought the parka looked nice.

Mind you, last time I posted a link to All Saints, someone suggested "Apocalypse chic" as their governing aesthetic. However, the men's fashion is more restrained.

There was also a really nice wool coat last time I was in, that's probably been reduced in the sale (I hope so because it was a preposterous £300!!!), which doesn't appear to be on the website.

apc

liberty for men

oipolloi.com

laundryroom.co.uk

I know this because I have a fashionista 16yr old son with very expensive tastes

apc had lovely coats but it might be hard to find them by now. oi polloi have some nice ones left. laundryroom has a thomas burberry trenchcoat in a large left in its sale that's quite nice if he doesn't want to go for the banker kind of coats (I do know what he means)

liberty probably has nothing left but worth a look. apc is small sizing - get only xl

they have an online shop now
