I think it's the denim skirt that's at fault. I don't know why but I always feel a bit wrong in a denim skirt and along with knee high boots it could look a bit rough.

I went to a wedding last weekend feeling like a hooker. Was wearing a short tulip shape high waist skirt with pussy bow chiffon blouse, black tights and heels.

Knew nothing about the b & g but turned out they were heavily committed Christians... nothing wrong in that (I myself have Christian leanings). Felt like the strumpet of Babylon.

Thing is, I was wearing, as you are, clothes that are for many completely normal and really rather stylish. Perhaps you like me are more used to wearing jeans and Uggs.

NO I'm not - have returned to work this last year so am still feeling my way really.

What colour denim is it? Stonewash = bad. OMG do you remember pebblewash??? I persuaded a new nanny to buy me some pebbledash skinny jeans when I was about 11. Thank God they mysteriously "vanished" in the wash one day.

Its the skirt and knee high boots combo. I always feel like a hooker when i am in a similar outfit.......... that and all the blokes curb crawling past my lamp post.

I think short skirts can be done with knee boots but only if said boots are flat.
