Honestly the way they are raving about it it seems too good to be true (yes I know thats their job)

Does anyone use this brand ,and if so with what results?

It depends on your age. It is very rich and many people do swear by it. It made my eyes go a little scaley.

Don't forget with QVC you can buy it, use it for a whole 28 days and still send it back if you don't like it or it doesn't live up to it's claims.

Lauriefairycake · 18/01/2009 12:48

Yep, I rave about the aromessences (essential oils). You put a few (3)drops on your face morning and evening under moisturiser. I use the Hydrafloral on top - it's a very light moisturiser so I use a heavier evening cream. The Hydrotense for around the eyes is good too.

I don't use toners/cleansers from them as I love Liz Earle for that (also QVC )

I also get it from QVC because of the money back if I have to policy. I've sent 4 things back in about 8/9 years of shopping and I probably buy something every month.

I got some samples from a beauty salon once. I liked the oil, I used it at night if my skin felt dry.

p1umpudding · 18/01/2009 18:19

I've tried it but it had no noticeable effects.

Smells lovely, but if I'm going to spend a reasonable amount, then I want the product to actually have some kind of effect.

Try it and if you don't like it, you can send it back.

wingandprayer · 18/01/2009 18:22

I have combination skin though have big problems with dryness and Decleor was only thing that fixed it - the ylang ylang night balm is fab. Birthday coming up and was planning on buying some more of their skincare stuff, had forgotten it was on QVC so thanks!

janeite · 18/01/2009 18:23

I've tried the Hydra Floral moisturiser and one of the facial oils. Both were lovely but didn't noticably "do" anything and were very pricey.

lizandlulu · 18/01/2009 20:41

i always use the hydra floral cream, i have dry sensitive skin and work in a 'dirty' atmosphere, it is the only cream that moisutrises good enough.

i have tried alot of decleor and everything is good, but too dear to use all the time.

SeymourButz · 18/01/2009 20:41

I BET IT WAS ALISON

fark me she can sell sand to arabs

lizandlulu · 18/01/2009 20:41

and prolagene gel is very good for stretch marks

duckyfuzz · 18/01/2009 20:42

my sister uses it and loves it, she has v dry skin (if that's relevant!)

brimfull · 18/01/2009 20:55

that alison's voice is awful

I can't bear to listen to her

lizandlulu · 18/01/2009 21:32

and she has terrible bags that all of her wonder products cant get rid of

zanz1bar · 18/01/2009 21:58

still she gets me hooked

SeymourButz · 18/01/2009 21:59

Me too

zanz1bar · 18/01/2009 22:01

just gave in and got some neroli oil.

damm swore i wouldn't spend on cosmetics this month but she wound me in again

mrsmaidamess · 18/01/2009 23:00

I know alison has got a voice like nails down a blackboard. Sometimes she loks lovely and other times.....I think she needs a little trimmed off her fringe.

And while we are disscecting QVC presenters, whats that ex gymnast woman Kathy someone all about? How mumsy is she for glamorous telly shopping?

RamblingRosa · 19/01/2009 08:38

I've tried Decleor cleansers and the essential balm and the rose face oil. All nice. Not the most amazing products in the world but pretty good and all did the job. Sometimes they have decleor stuff on offer in larger Superdrug shops. Might be cheaper than QVC.

I can't bear Alison! Her voice is so grating. And I think she can come across as a bit patronising and not very friendly. I like that Julia (looks a bit like Linda Lusardi or someone like that...I can imagine gentlemen of a certain age adoring her ). I think the ex gymnast one looks great (if a bit mumsy). Am I thinking of the right one? Sort of dark blonde and petite?

mrsseanbean · 19/01/2009 13:04

I agree that the arommessence oils are very good, especially the Ylang Ylang one if you have oily skin. I never believed that putting an oil on my skin would improve matters, but it did!
Try ebay shops for cheaper deals.

RamblingRosa · 19/01/2009 14:31

Yes, I've bought decleor on ebay too and it was fine. I'd only buy from UK sellers but that's just me. I like face oils. I think they work well.

Snozwangle · 01/02/2020 21:46

I'm nearly 63 and have used decleor for years. It's nice to use, smells divine, but it is no miracle cream. If it was as good as Alison says nobody would have wrinkles. What you put into your body, water, fruit, veg, etc, is more important.

JingleCatJingle · 01/02/2020 22:27

Nah
Overpriced!
Get a routine from the Ordinary.
Cheaper and better value.
