M&S IMO

VersdeSociete · 15/01/2009 20:02

Spanx, but can give you tummyache...

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 15/01/2009 20:33

I have a pair from M&S which are tummy control only with a thong back - although they also have a "love handle" panel at the back iyswim . They look bizarre but are a lot cooler and feel less obvious beneath clothing.......must admit to not letting DH witness said items though .

babyboo1and2 · 15/01/2009 20:36

thanks so far

am a bit worried about over the top spillage! Does this tend to happen or would one ging up to the bra area be better for this ?

spanx or m&s tights that cover the tummy and go up to the bra line.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 15/01/2009 20:56

No over the top spillage on the M&S ones - they come up to just above my tummy button - I am long in the body though so if you are a regular size they will prob come up higher.

babyboo1and2 · 15/01/2009 21:02

right will shop for either m and s or spanx

am being really lazy here - which stores sell spanx?

Debenhams sell spanx. I've got 2 types. The ones like long shorts that go right up under your norks are great.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 15/01/2009 21:06

might be worth googling them and doing price comparison online.

babyboo1and2 · 15/01/2009 21:10

thanks so much for your input

off to the shops tomorrow!

Matalan do really good ones from about £10. they go from under boobs to mid thigh, so all areas covered.

girlandboy · 16/01/2009 09:46

Tesco do them as well. I got a pair in the sales for £7.

Don't show them to dh though!! They are hideous!
