can anyone recommend a good under eye concealer, don't want anything too heavy. Got DH to buy me Benefit's powderflage for my birthday and it's rubbish, not impressed

Bobbi Brown creamy concealer- best i have had and have tried Prescriptives, Clinique and E Lauder.

macherie · 15/01/2009 20:06

I find Bobbi Brown eye brightener really good, it comes in lots of colours so you can get a good match. It seems to neutralise my purple circles.

mrsmaidamess · 15/01/2009 20:09

I think you actually need 2 products....one to conceal (sounds like Bobbi brown is a good bet, one of the few brands I havent tried) PLUS a light reflecting one, ie No 7 Lightening touch or whatever its called.

I've tried MAC (rubbish), no pigment to speak of and the girl who served me was not a day over 14.

I like Prescriptives camoflage cream.... but my Mum tells me I look tired all the time so I may have to rethink that one.

I used to use Benefit's 'boiing' but then found that Tescos brand 'make up' was a like for like concealer and under £5.00. I cant live without the stuff - hides everything and makes me look bright eyed and bushy tailed!

twoboots · 15/01/2009 20:19

recently discovered elf, i have this, which I use after their tinted moisturiser. Its all really well priced, their eye colours are really longlasting. I've also bought the mineral starter kit, which I havent got round to yet.

cornsilk · 15/01/2009 20:21

touche eclat
I use it as an under eye concealer anyway!

Mammina · 15/01/2009 21:03

so 2 for bobbi brown then, might give it a try - i've been told I have slightly yellow skin (?!) so a range of colour choices would be good
or might try the tesco one first

Is that ELF stuff really £1.50 or is my 'puter playing games?

southeastastra · 15/01/2009 22:03

tesco make up one is good, nice when you use a brush otherwise can be thick

slackrunner · 15/01/2009 22:05

Another vote for No7 (have tried Dior and Touche Eclat and IMO is far superior)

Aitch · 15/01/2009 22:14

completely agree about he tescos one, it's excellent.

rosieposey · 15/01/2009 22:22

Tesco one comes in three shades mingola too

chrimbospirit · 15/01/2009 22:24

No 7 brush on light reflectin thingy

Aitch · 15/01/2009 23:04

no is 3 for 2 at the mo, and if you spend £5 on something else (nappies etc) they give you a £5 voucher off no as well. so visit the cashier twice and you've got yourself a good deal. (if you need three things from no7, obv).
