Clarks boots online- need help now

Help - I have seen a pair of boots on the clarks website I want to order, but I have no idea what the D means in terms of calf fit. (There are no other options.)

I am quite chunky of calf, but have bought from clarks before. I cant find anything that explains what fitting D is. Can anyone advise me?

Sorry, I know a link would be useful, but I dont know how

I know Duo boots do calf sized boots. Might be worth checking out their website to see if their measurements will help.

Thanks McD - I have looked at Duo, but they are a bit pricey for my budget, and their width fittings are done in cms, rather than letters (much better.)

What about ordering them and having them delivered to your nearest shop. This costs nothing and you don't pay for them if you don't like them or they don't fit etc. I used this service just before Christmas: ordered on the Monday, in the shop on the Thursday, went into the shop on Friday, tried them on, liked them, bought them! And they turned out to be loads cheaper in the shop!

Good idea - thank Laurel
