ds2, bless him, bouthg me a clinique foaming face wash in the secret santa room as a christmas present. dd, aged 5.11 likes to use it. i have been letting her. but dsis is of the opinion that is bad for her precious babydoll skin, and she should stick to dove soap, or if shewants to use a facewash, something like johnsons.
any opinions please.

I think it may be a bit harsh for her. Why not let her have a little, occasionally, as a treat?

lol, thats exactly what dsis says.
any suggestions on what face wash i should let her use then?

I don't see why she can't use it. My mum is allergic to everything. Literally everything but clinique so it can't be that harsh.

DD1 uses my mums mosturiser when she has dry skin.

i come out in a really bad rash with clinique products. None of the other main brands have this affect.

Clinique didn't use to put their ingredients on bottles as it was a 'secret formula'.

Then I was told it was because there were so many harsh nasties in it. The toner or cleanser was basically pure alcohol and was told that vodka would do the same job!

this was years ago and not sure if ingredients are listed now (by law maybe?)

Just let her use it now and again maybe as special treat. Tell her it's for adult skin and she can get some special soap or something?

Told my niece that my facewash was especially for wrinkles and that really put her off!
