Boden boys skinny pyjamas

Has anyone ever had these? I bought some in the sale for DS in a size too big and while the tops look like they would fit him now, the bottoms are really long. I can't believe the tops will fit him in a year.

Am dithering about whether to send them back, but it's a faff. Anyone had them and liked them?

I just bought them in age 4 for ds1, he's 3.9 and average size for his age. I was hoping that he could use them as long johns when we go skiing so was expecting them to be tight but they are too small, particularly around his arms. Everywhere else they might have been OK but I couldn't get him to keep them on long enough to tell. They are definitely going back.

Thanks, I'll send them back then.

If you're after slim pjyamas and ones to go under as long johns - try the ones from Gap - they last well but it may be worth getting the next size up - my DS is average size, but usually wears the next age up

Thanks, I'll have a look. I don't really mind if they're skinny or not but I find it hard to find nice boys pyjamas.

The sizing on Boden skinny pjs are bonkers. They say they are a snug fit but there's snug and there's too tight. The sleeves are very tight - cuffs almost impossible to get hands through but about twice as long as they need to be (clearly designed for an orangutang). The trousers are a very odd shape too!

DD is small for her age and she barely fitted in the 18-24 months size when she was at the bottom end of the size range. In most other things she's in at least a good 6-12 months smaller than her actual age. I agree with maisiestar, the Gap ones are great - a good fit with plenty of stretch and proper shaped trousers!

Don't know what happened there. Gap ones do sound very nice!

I bought age 3 for DS, who is 2.8. He could easily have worn age 4. It's difficult to get his hands through the cuffs and the top isn't nearly long enough.

If they had been full price I would have sent them back but as they are half price, they should at least last him the rest of the winter (and are very cosy).

The Gap ones are great but at £15 a pair are quite expensive. I can only ever see the Christmas ones in the sale.
