I have a lovely Teal dress and Teal shoes. How would you accessorise for a wedding and a night out?

The dress is by NancyMac. Vintage style, silk georgette (quite flouncy, but matte). Knee length dress with short flouncy sleeves. Vertical pleats on the top with long pieces to tie from the front collar.

Anyway, I want to wear this outfit for a wedding but also wonder if i could accessorize it into more of a night out with the girls dress too.

I like vintage. So any resources on that would be good.

i'm thinking pearls or feathers (peacock?).
but don't know if sparkles or black might be better.

Anybody got any ideas?

I've just found a picture on the nancymac website, but you have to download the 08 catalogue to see it. page 4, item 3

catalogue

Any help appreciated.
TIA.

That's lovely - pearls for wedding and sparkles for girls night out.

I've never seen NancyMac before - who stocks it?

DragonLowFatSpread · 10/01/2009 21:35

DragonLowFatSpread · 10/01/2009 21:41

it's my favourite colour, goes well with brown leather imo. Be nice to jazz up or down, good choice

DragonLowFatSpread · 10/01/2009 21:51

Thanks. It looks a bit shapeless in the picture but it hangs lovely. it nips in at the waist, and it was a size 12 so feeling pleased about that too.

I'm going to keep an eye out for bargainous pearly jewellery then.

It's also the pic on the front cover of the catalogue, I think. Looks lovely. If you're young/lithe enough, maybe with leggings and heels for girls' night out?

DragonLowFatSpread · 10/01/2009 23:27

ok, how about youngish and a bit curvy.
honestly it's a very flattering cut and looks great with heels.

will try with leggings though for a night out.

jackieno - your name always makes me think you're going to give me a telling off.
