Ok I want dark widelegged, high waisted jeans type trousers made out of quite a light fabric...in a size 16 ish. Any thoughts?

My best ones are flare fit from gap, definitely high waisted (sit on waist rather than hips), they do different fabrics, but the denim is very light and soft in feel as well.

I love mine.

Fillyjonk · 09/01/2009 08:21

ah good, thanks

am not really gap shaped any more but will take a look

Oh, of course you are. I am a 14, sometimes a 16 and so many people have commented on my legs / bum (in a good way) when I have worn them.

Fillyjonk · 09/01/2009 08:24

used to be gap shaped

then had 3 kids

now am m&s shaped.

And fgs why are they staffed by such glamourous young things with clearly intact fanjos (or is that just, for some utterly bizare reason, cardiff?)

Saw these and they looked very nice.

tesco. denim looking dark fabric. About 12 quid. High waist wide legged. In the smart/casual bit.

PaddingtonBore · 09/01/2009 10:15

uniqlo. they have far more choice in the stores, but you'd need to be south of watford to get to one.

SilentTerror · 09/01/2009 10:55

I have some dark denim Monsoon ones that are wide legged, in thin denim fabric.

Fillyjonk · 11/01/2009 05:36

ah thanks all. Am going to give tescos a try I think first!

My trouble is that I am quite long waisted so it tends to be m&s etc that fits-but they are so bloody expensive
