Seems fairly obvious when you think about it, but I was inspired anyway: home made sugar scrub.

I just 'Stumbled Upon' this blog and thought the home made scrub was a fab idea, and would make a cheap gift too!

So easy...might try it.

Not tried it myself yet (keep promising myself that I will use up all the stuff already in my bathroom before aquiring any more!) but it sounds yummy!

Coffee grounds are ace too but they make a hell of a mess. They make your skin absolutely soft lovely and like you always dreamed of. Just rub used coffee grounds onto your skin and have a normal shower. Then clean your shower, which is the only downside.

I always do that - sugar and olive oil. Coffee would bung up your pipes possibly... sugar dissolves...

ooh-i'll have a look at that! My mum used to have some lovely almond oil she used with sugar-when you used it on your hands they were amazingly soft! Might be off to google where I can get the oil......

That's what I though but my Spanish PILs put coffee down the pipes to clear them. I haven't had any problems as yet.
