If she's the sort that suits red, she'll look lovely in it. Its the sort of thing that always looks better "on". My DD suits those sort of colours, and I would buy something like that for her!

FleaRiddenKitten · 07/01/2009 16:21

ive never brought anything that expensive for her before.
she does suit red though she has a little red coat, looke lovely on her

They do look lovely Flea

FleaRiddenKitten · 07/01/2009 16:36

thanks i really hope it's nice.
she normally only gets hand me downs and charity shop things which i am lucky to have for her i know.
but i never get to put her in any thing i like.
i would really love to get some red dolly type shoes for her so she has one complete outfit which is really nice.
only trouble is though would have to be very cheap.
i brought this with some money she was given at christmas.
or i could try and get some cheap red wellies?
what do you think?

My DDs both love monsoon, and both have been through phases of wearing expensive pretty dresses with welly boots, a cute look for real little girls .
I always look forward to the monsoon january sales, my girls love to go and blow all their christmas money there. i have also picked up some real monsoon bargains on e-bay, because their clothes last forever, brilliant quality, a really good buy

lizziemun · 07/01/2009 16:49

I have got some red shoes (glittery) for dd1 from h&M for under £10.

Yunyun · 07/01/2009 16:50

Free delivery too

blowninonabreeze · 07/01/2009 16:52

My DD1 had this dress for a wedding at 18 months. Its beautiful. Can't wait for DD2 to grow into it.

Enjoy it

FleaRiddenKitten · 07/01/2009 17:00

it's going to be so good to finially put her into something i've actually picked for her.
i figured now she a little bit older it will last her a while,

do you think the colour looks right?

i was thinking when dd is done with the dress and shrug, i could sell it then buy another.

CarGirl · 07/01/2009 18:17

I don't think you can ever tell until real life I'm afraid.

FleaRiddenKitten · 07/01/2009 19:27

i might wait till i get the dress, then go into town and see what it goes with.
