What kind of earrings do you wear?

I only ever seem to wear small pearl studs and I fancy a change but need some inspiration.

but if she wants more exciting earrings than the pearls she already has, another pair or wear-and-forget studs, however sparkly, aint gonna help

Me and earrings are not getting on well at the moment. Everything looks wrong. I think I have swollen glands. I am wearing plain silver ball studs all the time at the moment. Anything else seems to exacerbate the problem.

That should of course have been 'earrings and I...' but it sounded too formal for an earring thread.

My goodness, how common diamonds are!

I have these Tiffany ones which I seem to wear most of the time.

Small silver hoops. I rarely change them because I have three in each ear and it's a pain in the arse to change them. I used to have three little studs in each ear but the poles dug into my neck at night!

I have 2 holes.
In the highest one is a flat, round silver stud. In the other is a silver hoop. Alergic to anything that isn't silver.

Most days is pearls, but if I need to glam up a daytime outfit, I wear diamonds and always diamonds when I go out.

Almost always: 1/2 carat princess cut diamond studs.

A gift from my father when I was 21.

And tiny, 14ct gold ball studs in the other piercings - I have my ears pierced twice - if anything.

and a silver "tiffany" bracelet. i want more silver tiffany jewellery!!

my mum died last year and when my brother and i went through her jewellery to select something for our kids....there was nothing! so i now want to have a few nice pieces myself that my dc can see me wearing and have when i'm gone,as a reminder. was sad mum had nothing much....but she had plenty of costume stuff from dancing days!!(ballroom dancer)
