Where can i buy reasonably priced maternity tights?

Help, need to go to work on thursday and i don't think my pre-preg wardrobe is going to fit (especially after the amount i ate over christmas!).

I want fairly opaque black and brown ones (about 40 dernier minimum i guess)

I've had a quick look online and can't find any on M&S website (are they called something other than "Maternity tights!?!"), mothercare seem to be out of stock and i don't think any of the shops in my town do them. There is a small Dorothy Perkins that might have mat section - do they normally do tights?

The only ones i could find online cost about £20 and i'm bound to put my thumb through them after 2 wears so something more inthe region of a fiver would be better - anyone bought any lately??

They are £8 or so in Mothercare and Topshop.

I did buy some from M&S, but can't find them either. How odd.

The Mothercare ones are shite. Avoid at all costs.

I was thinking of getting the top shop ones and their maternity leggings too.

topshop tights - just found them on the website. how big are their M/L size, does anyone know? I usually have to get large size tights as am quite tall (5'8") and about size 14. would these fit?

I am finding topshop smallish at the moment think I am just fatter, I normally use M/L too, because I like to pull them up high . Buy them, Innat and if they're too big- I'll have 'em .

Got mine at H&M - were nice and warm.

Apparently you can buy normal tights but in a larger size and wear back to front so the bump goes in the bum bit. Haven't tried it myself though

Just went into M&s to buy maternity tights and was told they don't stock anymore. I last ordered them 3 years ago so I checked website and you can order over the phone into a store for free. Product code is T601818 and they are £6 each and come in black or purple. Also have some good leggings code T556105 £10. Thank goodness - M&S ones are so comfy!!

i got some black opaque ones from Jojomamanbebe...£5 a pair I think...(the support ones-though they are not noticeably supportive, just seem like ordinary opaque tights to me)
they look fine and are nice and comfy

I would second M&S. The only ones which lasted well for me and my enormous bump.
