long black quilted coat obsession

Hi I desperately (need??) / want a long black quilted coat to see me through to the end of winter on my twice daily school runs. I am so sick of being COLD!!!! Has anyone seen any in the shops recently. Why is it when you want something, they vanish from all available outlets. An online option would be great also.

I got one from principles. Not that thick but still long, and warm. Not sure if they still have them though..
