has anyone got these - do they work??
Easy to use? Do the curls stay put??

I have them and was disappointed, my GHDs do similar curls that last longer.

If you have GHDs they are not worth it. I get good results with GHDs and curling tongs (cheapo ones from Boots) combined and Toni and Guy hairspray.

I fancy the look of those as well

hmmm - may save my money then. I have GHDs & I have seen hairdressers doing curls with them but can't manage it on myself!

I can't do curls on my narrow irons either - despite them supposedly having the ability

my hairdresser told me that it was the same process as you use when curling parcel ribbon with scissors - a sort of pull & curl down - not managed it though!

Put your hair in, turn the GHD 180 degrees and pull them down slowly and then twirl the hair to form the curl.

The you curl website has quite a good video guide. There are a few on youtube as well.

I have both the youcurl and GHDs and the curl is more generic with the youcurl - I mean it is the same each time. For me, the GHDs can give a random result, with one price of hair curling brilliantly, the next going kind of straight with a wierd kink.

The youcurl is so cheap, and it really is easy. I run it through and kind of toss my hair back and this forms the curl.

If you are a master with GHDs though, you should not need the youcurl.
