Are they any good? Are they a complete faff? Should I get one? What colour for medium brown hair?

I've used them. They are a bt of a faff. You have to leave them on to farking ages (well, depending how strong you want the colour to be).

The red one is extremely bright - not for the faint of heart. The Marron one was good on my hair (which is naturally chestnutty brown).

The smell is also an acquired taste, and can linger in the hair for a while.

On the plus side, the colour lasts for weeks and weeks, and it makes your hair VERY shiny and soft.

Thanks very much. I might give the brown one a go.

I use the caca marron one and it does make your hair feel soft and shiny. My hair is auburny colour, thick and a bit shorter than shoulder length.
Try to keep it in as long as possible - it will be a sloppy mess when you apply it but wrap your head in loads of cling, leave for ages and dont open the door to anyone!
Agree about the smell !
I use 4 squares from the block of 6 then the other 2 about 6 weeks later.
Good luck
Ask for gloves !
