I am long waisted so a lot of tops are too short for me. Can anyone recommend stores?
I tend to layer sometimes to stop the gap

My friend is 5' 11.5'' and swears by Miss Selfridges.

I am very tall and buy my clothes from New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Long tall sally, and Next sell a tall range on line only.

thanks for that I'll take a look. I'm only 5ft 8" but long waisted.

I am the same, just got a really long long sleeved t shirt from topshop sale. Some of their tops are short though so it was a lucky find. Primark are also quite good for basic t shirt type things for layering as are H and M, well thier camisole tops are long anyway. And I got some from Tescos last year that were long.

I wanted longer tops to cover my baby tummy and I have found 3 lovely shirts from Tu of all places.

My sister got my very long-bodied dd1 some basic tops from Sainsbos, which come all the way down to her hip bones.

MrsDoylesMole · 31/12/2008 21:11

I am very tall and find that most tops in Primark are very long in length and sleeve.

C&C California vests and tees are great - really long in the body.

JumpingDizzy · 01/01/2009 18:34

thanks for these tips too.

Yes Jumping, but you can get them in the UK as well. I think Selfridges stock them for example, but also available online and Ebay.

JumpingDizzy · 02/01/2009 13:17

thanks for that mrsseanbean

New Look also do a tall section online (harder to find instore) and I love DPs for tops but find the trousers too long even for me (I'm 5 "10)

PaddingtonBore · 03/01/2009 20:31

tesco, dorothy perkins, esprit, topshop. I am ridiculously long of trunk, and these tend not to leave gaps. Also try extra-small mens basic t-shirts in topman and uniqlo. these seem to be a sufficiently fitted cut.

JumpingDizzy · 04/01/2009 11:35

thanks for these suggestions.
