Its really expensive but my stomach is awful and I would love to be able to have a proper tummy tuck but that is even more expensive!

I would really love to hear from anyone who has tried it....

100 quid

my tummy is awful too. i would actually pay that if it worked

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 22:11

thats what I was thinking...

if any cream had permanent results it would need to be medically licenced. I share your quest for a cure for stretch marks but this is not your holy Grail sorry.

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 22:16

but what if???

I want to try it too! tummy wrecked after 2 sections.I wish I knew someone who had tried it.

wingandprayer · 30/12/2008 22:22

Do these so called miracle creams ever work? I bet that what the cream actually does is 'reduce appearance of stetch marks' which is tantamount to admitting it does sweet fa except cover them up.

wingandprayer · 30/12/2008 22:27

sorry don't mean to be so negative I am sucker for posh makeup. My stomach looks like relief map of snowdonia and my bikini days well over, but they are slowly fading now. Spend the 100 quid on some great underwear and an extra mojito every time you need a boost. Am sure will have more effect!!!!

singsong · 30/12/2008 22:36

I don?t believe these creams work. In any case I?m sure my saggy belly is beyond help from anything a cream could do. Would need to be the proper tummy tuck or me buttoning my mouth to stop the chocolate going in

GentleOtter · 30/12/2008 22:44

It is just snake oil in a new container.

hellymelly · 30/12/2008 22:45

Its not for stretch marks-I think only a laser would really sort those out.It is meant to tone the tum, tighten and de-flub.

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 23:13

but what if it does work and i don't try it????

i would do anything to get rid of my flabby loose skin tummy

OP posts:
cornsilk · 30/12/2008 23:15

It won't work! If it did they'd charge a lot more than that. Get a personal trainer.

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 23:18

but a personal trainer cant get rid of loose overstretched skin caused by dts!!

OP posts:
cornsilk · 30/12/2008 23:19

What's dts? (dim)

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 23:20

twins!

OP posts:
cornsilk · 30/12/2008 23:22

Ah I see! All a cream will do is improve the texture and appearance of the skin. it won't do any more. If it did I'd have buckets of the stuff!

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 23:25

Sad Sad Sad

OP posts:
cornsilk · 30/12/2008 23:26

Aw - just think you can buy yourself some lovely boots or something instead!

drinkmoretea · 30/12/2008 23:29

would rather have a taut tummy..

OP posts:
cornsilk · 30/12/2008 23:36

And me!

jenwa · 31/12/2008 08:36

I was just going to post a thread to ask if anyone knew of any good creams to firm loose skin after pregnancy! So there is nothing then other than a tummy tuck which will leave me with a scar .
I have gone back to my old size but still have this loose saggy bit which is soooo depressing, even more so as I was not over eating in pregnancy and kept as fit as poss (not going to gym but walking lots and looking after dd1 etc and not slobbing about)
Maybe the only way is to starve myself so my body eats my skin

jenwa · 31/12/2008 08:38

did see a website for skinenergizer that did a firming cream but not sure if worth it now!

cornsilk · 31/12/2008 08:38

Won't exercise help though? If you specifically targetted the muscles in your tummy surely it would help to improve it's appearance.

jenwa · 31/12/2008 08:44

Yeh, I do need to re join at the gym too as my membership ran out this year! I need to start doing sit ups etc. Have that prob where my tummy muscles had come apart so was not able to do any major tummy exercises! dd2 is now 9 weeks so will need to get back into exercise again! It will be a matter of finding the time to go to the gym now!

cornsilk · 31/12/2008 08:51

Wow 9 weeks! It took me months before I set foot back in the gym. I greatly admire your enthusiasm.
