Calling fans of Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish...

....I've recently discovered Tesco's BNatural Organic Cleanser (use with a muslin cleansing cloth the same as LE's cream) which does the same job IMO for a fraction of the price (£3.97, although currently on 3 for 2). Looking at the ingredients they're very similar too. My skin is all clear and glowy after using it. Recommend it lots.

Am huge fan of cleanse & polish (it smells so fab as well as being a superb cleanser), but will give this a go, thanks .

slackrunner · 30/12/2008 20:50

It's great, and it does smell lovely too. Shame it has to come from Tesco's , but at £3.97 a pop I'm afraid I'm prepared to turn a blind eye.

Does it take off eye makeup? Never used muslin cloth way but tempted to try.

slackrunner · 30/12/2008 20:55

Yep - it is industrial strength cleanser, but is still very soft on your skin. The only prob with using muslin cloths is the faff of washing them, but far cheaper/ greener than cleansing wipes.

oooh lovely! thanks for the tip! Will make th purchase when I have got through my annual supply bought for me as a Christmas pressie

Have you used anything else in the tesco range?

hercules1 · 30/12/2008 20:56

Muslin squares - will tescos own baby muslin squares do the job? Only ones I can find on online shop.

slackrunner · 30/12/2008 20:57

Cod always used to rave about the hair serum from that range. I've used the shampoo on my dd's hair (at a mate's house) - also excellent. All of the stuff smells luch, I keep meaning to try more from the range.

Yep, baby muslin squares will be fine.

Hair serum in this range is great I agree.

tattycoram · 30/12/2008 20:57

Hercules, yes, I use DS's old muslins with my cleansers.

hercules1 · 30/12/2008 20:58

Thanks!

hercules1 · 30/12/2008 20:59

Just added both to my order!

slackrunner · 30/12/2008 21:01

Will be interested to know whether you think it's any good.

I like the Superdrug one. Comes with a cloth and was £2.85 when I bought it. A steal! It's fab.
