I need a new hairbrush

I have been using denman brushes for years since I was told they were the right thing 20-25 years ago. Now are they still the best thing? Both of mine have been falling apart for a while and are now getting beyond a joke.

What does the panel recommend? I have fairly thick hair, and as a redhead, the strands themselves are quite thick but not coarse. I blow dry my hair but can use a different brush for this.

I think I've been using the D4 for years.

Kent pure bristle controls my unruly feathers.

I still use denman brushes as do my hairdressers though 'natural bristle' brushes are said to be better for finishing off as they polish the hair.
