Threading totally kicks waxing's sorry ass

I've always had my eyebrows waxed before. Today I got threaded and it was so much better. Quicker, less painful, neater, more detailed and cooler.

There is nothing that waxing can do to my eyebrows that threading can't do better.

Couldn't agree more!

rubyslippers · 29/12/2008 13:21

oh yes - the shape you get from threading is the best

extremelychocolateymilkroll · 29/12/2008 13:22

Do you know how long threading lasts? How much did it cost?

rubyslippers · 29/12/2008 13:23

i can go up to 3 weeks between threadings as i just pluck the stray hairs out myself

it costs £3.50 where i go

sherby · 29/12/2008 13:25

£3.50? Where do you live

Its £20 near me!

AliceTheCamelHasGotTheHump · 29/12/2008 13:29

Yes, MUCH better shape. Threading is far more precise.

Wow £3.50!! Mine is £10 and it's brill - I just go about every 2-3 weeks, and am nearly at a shape other than my old hairy darlingesque brows.

used2bthin · 29/12/2008 14:38

I can't find ANYWHERE near me that does it and I've heard its much better than waxing. I live in a city I just don't understand why nowhere does it!

hopelesshousewife · 29/12/2008 14:41

I only found this one by chance - I wandered into a clothes shop where she does one day a week - bit public, ie in front of anyone who might pop into the shop- but hey ho.

used2bthin · 29/12/2008 14:46

Oh right maybe its being done but not advertised. My friend has hers done at work by a colleague but she won't do anyone elses!
