Do you use a daily moisturiser with SPF?

That is a must to begin with - even on these chilly winter days you should use SPF 15.

I use boots 7 protect and perfect range, but I have no brown patches.

Bumping for advice.

Bliss do some products for skin tone/brown patches. Haven't tried them though so can't say if it's any good.

I've just started using Anti redness Rich moisturizing cream. Vascular and climatic protection. Dry to very sensitive skin. By Eau thermale Avene Antirougeurs.

I was speaking with a friend that had mild brown patches on her face and they seem to have cleared up. I've just started using it on my face and there's been a small improvement.

Bio oil at night too.

I had a very noticeable brown patch on my cheek at the end of the summer and used Even Better Skin Tone Corrector by Clinique. It says allow 4-6 weeks but for me it took 8+ weeks but it really did work. I can still see the brown in a strong light but really no one else would know it's there. I really recommend this. Next summer I'm going to be much more careful about using SPF on my face every day.

I use SPF15 every day now, but to get rid of my brownn patches I use day bright and night bright from dermalogica www.beautyflash.co.uk/cat-face-and-body/specialities/day-bright-spf15.html

Can I recommend Clinique City Block, SPF either 25 or 40? for prevention of more brwon spots/aging.

It really does help, 365 days a year- I have usedit for about 15 years every day and no-one believes my age! ( they think I am 15 yrs older, lol).

Sun is the biggest damager of skin- even on dull days the UV rays do damage.

I use this from Boots.

I use it on my forehead where I got a lovely brown patch when pregnant.

I wasn't that bothered by it really until my mum tried to rub off "that dirty mark on your forehead"!!!!!!

The cream has definitely lightened it.

I came across this thread, i know its pretty old, but im sure its well visited as its an interesting topic. I was doing some searches for a similar skin condition, i have found the ideal solution, so i tracked back to the page to post it for you guys. Its actually a new Dermalogica product designed for these sort of bleamishes www.summer365.co.uk/dermalogica-chromawhite-tr-brightning-regime.html

Hope this helps!
