bumpy red spots on upper arms!!!!!

Basically I have bumpy red spots on my upper arms. I started with a small patch but has grown bigger. The skin looks awful.

I used to have beautiful smooth skin before my children were born. It could be linked or maybe I don't spend enough time exxfoliating and rarely moisturising. It's only on my upper arms by the way. Any solutions?

I take the Boots Omega 3,6 & 9 capsules.

Lactic acid lotion works (doesn't smell great though). I bought it in a US chemist, where it is sold under the brand name Amlactin. Worth trying Boots or Superdrug for a generic version.
