Ok i'll start.

Ordered a meagre three things, from sale.

I give you:

the fabulous print dress

in bluey purple colour.
The material is thickish crinkly viscose - actually looks very nice, hangs Ok, not too minuscule but the fit is small - I;m usually an easy 10 but struggled to get it over my head.
So I stood there, for about 5 seconds thinking 'okayy, this is good' then i tried to lift my arms up to move my hair. I couldn't.

You see the model has her arms clamped to her sides? Well that's because she has no choice. I mean it is a bit of a design flaw, no? and I have slender arms, am not a hairy trucker with popeye tattoos.

we move on...

the hotchpotch jersey dress.

I like the look of it in terms of fabric etc but the colour is all wrong for me, so I do not bother to try it on. Not fair to do a review!

and finally: The fun cardigan

Boy this is fun.

No, really. I do like it. I put it on when I was still in the throes of flu and it cheered me up a bit - it's too short for my liking but doesn't ride up too much. Looks best buttoned though. It is thick, like a double thickness almost at the waist and cuffs, if not all over (I never understand the mechanics of knitting) and the colours are good - i got brown with pinky and red bits.
It's the only thing I'll be keeping and at £22 not toooooo bad value for money.

But Boden has really surprised me with their straitjacket frocks.

Who's next? (and can we use the free courier returns number on the packet, or do we need to do it by PO to be back before Christmas for a refund? )

Btw it isn't the thin waist that makes it impossible to move, it is the actual sleeves. They just stop you, full stop! weirdy.

oh....don't say that. I ordered 2 dresses on Weds evening and they've just arrived now but I haven't tried them on yet

Pretty Jersey Coat
Got this in all 3 colours. The purple is stunning, really beautiful vibrant colour. The fit at the front is perfect, however from the back looks like a council workers jacket a bit baggy and absolutely no shape to it.
DD wore the purple jacket all day yesterday

Still waiting for the pretty knitted dress...

SilentTerror · 19/12/2008 17:47

Fishie,me too!
Agree, full stock and discount obviously for a reason!
Hideous.
Jersey Swishy skirt in blackberry going back.
Merino wrap in damson ...dull,also wraps don't suit me have decided!

I bagged the long henley sweater in navy (now sadly sold out). However, if they do come back into stock I would heartily recommend. Very warm, fine yarn - ie not bulk inducing and looks really great and flattering even on a seasonally less than svelte figure (mince pie mania has set in).
