went into h&m today for a skirt for dd (7), and they had nothing but knicker skimmers!

why is it so impossible to find a girls skirt in a decent length?. am buying school skirts 2 sizes too big to get them long enough, she's not overly tall, but i would prefer her undercarriage to be slightly less exposed.

this is why i end up reverting to places like boden as at least some of their skirts contain a bit more fabric.

It is really frustrating. For non-school skirts I've resorted to leggings or thick patterned woolly tights underneath.

I agree. DD1 is 8, and the last skirt I bought for her was an age 12, with the adjustable waistband adjusted inwards!

I never shop in H&M anymore, think it has gone really downhill.

I have huge problems getting skirts for dd1 as she is so skinny and so although she is 11 anything bigger than age 9 is too big but age 9 is miles too short for her.
