Yunyun · 17/12/2008 13:43

Like 1970's wallpaper...

kittywise · 17/12/2008 13:44

ThePellyandMe · 17/12/2008 13:45

There's a reason its so cheap...

paddingtonbear1 · 17/12/2008 13:45

gosh! I would send it back, deffo.
(sorry that's not much persuasion is it)

Heated · 17/12/2008 13:45

If you keep it, you'll be scowling every time you open your wardrobe or end up getting dressed in the dark

Return it.

kittywise · 17/12/2008 13:46

Right, off to post office it is then

OP posts:
kittywise · 17/12/2008 13:47

I know the answer , I just thought maybe it was a post ironic, expressionist skirt and I was missing the point

It seems there is no point!

OP posts:
navyeyelasH · 17/12/2008 13:48

I like it!

Lizzylou · 17/12/2008 13:48

Sell it on Ebay in the summer, anything by Boden goes for silly money on Ebay. Bet you get at least £25 for it.

navyeyelasH · 17/12/2008 13:49

Oh no I take it back - I like the blue spots not the fruit salad bowl.

FIMBOingaroundtheChristmasTree · 17/12/2008 13:50

I bought in the summer time in the Thistle strip it was worst than hideous. It sort of stuck out at the sides, dh was phsl.

kittywise · 17/12/2008 13:54

Ah, ebay, yes............... of course!

OP posts:
jujumaman · 17/12/2008 13:55

Oh, the link is to the spotty skirt, which is fairly inoffensive

The fruit salad bowl is revolting, remember seeing it in the catalogue and thinking who on earth would buy that ...

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 17/12/2008 13:55

Holy crp that's, er, crp.

kittywise · 17/12/2008 14:02

Well, interesting you should say that. I actuallly thought i was getting the blue stripey thing, which is also pretty shit, looks like a pair of curtains.

You see WHO would buy it even on ebay in the summer?

On the web site it is nearly sold out though.......

OP posts:
samsonara · 17/12/2008 17:31

Keep, it will look fab this summer with flip flops and a strappy top , very holidayish.

honestfriend · 17/12/2008 17:34

oh dear- I bought the fruit salad one last summer in the sale- it's ok but wondering whether to ebay now?

SnowballsintheSky · 17/12/2008 17:36

I like it and it's the first Boden thing I've ever seen.

Lizzylou · 17/12/2008 18:28

Can I admit that I very nearly bought it in the blue stripey material for this summer?
I think it could look nice

BodenGroupie · 17/12/2008 18:36

I got the dress in the same fabric and dh persuaded me to keep it. Wore it to work and got lots of positive comments from men .
I still cringe every time I see it in the wardrobe!

kittywise · 17/12/2008 19:13

bodengroupie hmmm interesting......... How often have you worn it then?

OP posts:
BikeRunSki · 17/12/2008 20:26

I hate it, but DH likes it.

LiffeyCanSpellGeansaiNollaig · 17/12/2008 20:47

hmm, I like it. With a navy or a white t-shirt on warm summer day, just for nothing special though. Not for going out.
