Need some help with hair styles for my DS

HI,

My DS is 12 and has decided he really wants to grow his hair. It is at the stage where it looks (to me) like it needs a bloody good cut, but he thinks it looks fab and apparently so does the rest of the population.

I think it needs to be styled into some kind of shape.
So my question is, where do you take boys to get their hair styled? Should I just take him to the usual barbers?

I think barbers are fine (and a lot cheaper) if they have short hair but once it's longer and you want it properly styled, I think you need a hairdresser - would go for a unisex salon where they have experience of both.
