Eyeliner that doesn't smudge and make me look like a panda?

Is there such a thing? I usually use a grey-ish pencil and it looks fine when I leave the house but within an hour or two it ends up under my eyes too, leaving me with a rather attractive black-eye look.

What can I use that will look subtle but won't end up all over my face?

Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner. It really stays put.

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 02:10

Thanks! I've never tried gel eyeliner

Napoleon does eyeliner cake that you use a brush and waterproof liquid. It's an investment to start but liquid can be used with his eye shadow powders too. only thing that works on my greasy eyelids!

I swear by BeneFit Bad Gal eyeliner, expensive but lasts forever and really easy to apply.

Pencils always smudge on me. I ended up with some on my nose the other day. I find the body shop liquid one stays put quite well.

Best one I've ever found is Lancome.

I use a Rimmel liquid liner. Tis very cheap (can't remember exact price but, hey, its Rimmel so can't be too expensive!) and stays put beautifully.

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 21:30

Oo, rimmel. I can afford to try that this week! Thanks

Gel eyeliner is fab, looks really professional and lasts for ages. Takes a bit of time to get the knack though and is expensive if you have to get a brush etc. I like the L'oreal liquid eyeliner as well.
