Boden sale - what a pile of pants

Nothing worth buying in my dd's size - all out of stock or else just £1 off in the sale!

Most pathetic sale ever imo, I suppose their business must be going very well!

Yes I have the velvet coat in the blue. I ordered normal size for me (size 12) and it's not over-generous despite the reviews that say to size down. I do like it and have had lots of compliments but I think it wouldn't suit anyone with wide shoulders or big norks!

DD having just announced that she now likes skirts, and not finding many in the shops, I was pleased to find a couple that should suit her in the sale.

Only looked at the kids stuff. A lot of the things I liked were out of stock ages ago so I didn't have too high expectations.

I didn't get a comfirmation e-mail on an order I placed around 10am. Website kept crashing and took a long time to get to check-out. Phoned earlier and they confirmed that the order was accepted.

I have both my confirmation emails.

I ordered at 920am and then again at 3pm, each email arrived within 30 minutes or so (to my yahoo account)

I haven't got a confirmation email either, but I know the sale has gone through because I phoned them up when the Boden site wouldn't let you order and ordered some boys t-shirts...I asked teh guy if they could combine the postage with the web order and he found my web order OK.
Have to agree though the sale was pants.....I've been looking on the website for a few weeks building up a wish list but there's hardly anything in a 12 in anything nice....and there hasn't been for a LONG time. Johnny B needs to get his stock sorted and not sell out of everything within a few weeks of it going online.
I did manage to get a spot coat for £87 and 2 fav v-neck cardis.
However, I suspect like most Boden purchases of late, most will be going back to Johnnie....poor fit/poor style/unflattering.
V disillusioned wiht Boden at the mo.

i placed an order yesterday first thing and got the confirmation email in the middle of the night so i wouldn't worry - it is probably on its way.

Ordered yesterday, didn't get a confirmation but a despatch note has come through this morning if that helps clarify things for anyone..

i ordered at 7:40 am yesterday and my parcel has arrived...i cant believe it.....its took several weeks for two childrens items, in stock, to arrive from a previous order

Very annoyed by this sale. There were a couple of items I wanted for the dc. Checked late last week and all items in stock. Check the mornign of the sale and nothing, nada, zip. So either all sold out already ([hnn] as I logged onto Boden first thing Fri am) or it never hit the sale?

This is the first year I have not bought anything in the sale for the dc.

Am fed up!

Had ordered the girls suitcase and although it showed as in stock at the time of ordering, its gone, completely sold out - just missed it.

Wow - quick delivery. I ordered around 8.30am and have been told mine has been despatched which I thought was good. But boys' stuff only for me this time.

Johnnie must be cracking the whip at Boden despatch, I wish he'd get on with the order I placed 12 weeks ago though which still hasn't arrived. Am losing hope of ever seeing it.

Don't forget - it's always worth having a look about a week after the sale's started, because people send stuff back that doesn't fit/they don't like, so things can sometimes come back into stock.

My orders always arrive quickly, either at sale time or not. usually 3-4 days after ordering- sometimes by courier, or by mail. The only delay has been if an item was out of stock.

the website is still having problems but you can still use it via the quick shop option. you need the item no from the catalogue
