oh.. I was hoping it would be better than the l'oreal one that made me look like joan collins and david dickinson's love child

StarlightWonderStarlightBright · 10/12/2008 18:45

Their definition of 'natural' I suppose

the real image was worse trust me... I know how disappointing it is though - you see something and get your hopes up it'll be a perfect product but so often end up disappointed.

although have been very happy with the reissue of bourjois retro classic eyeshadow/blush

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 10/12/2008 20:32

oh really? will have alookout.

not that i get a chance to go all out and have eyeshadow on v often these days

fwiw, the protect and perfect foundation is pretty good. so long as your skin isnt dry and flaky (must remember to exfoliate more often )

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 10/12/2008 20:41

yep know what you mean - I can apply slap whilst singing kookaburra and waving a plastic giraffe these days...

HeadFairy · 10/12/2008 20:44

if you're after mineral foundation, get some of the lily lolo stuff, it's the only one I've found that doesn't make you look all shiney, but watch out for some of the blushers or bronzers, they do have lots of shimmer. Go for the matt ones. Very nice and cheap too. You can order testers to check the colours before you buy, but they're pretty cheap as well.

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 10/12/2008 20:49

the queens of multitasking eh?

headfairy, thanks for that tip. i did snurk at the girl on the homepage whose make up looks awful and anything but natural imo, but the products look nice and i like the idea of tesers before you buy, good one.

yeah, ignore the front page, but they're the only ones that don't have that odd metallic sheen that I've come across. They have masses of colours too, the Skin Ecensuals (or what ever crazy way they have of spelling it) only comes in limited colours.
