Eye make up remover that doesn't sting - help please!

I've always used Clinique take the day off remover which I love because it works and doesn't sting, but it's pricey and I'm sure there must be a good cheaper alternative out there. Can anyone recommend one? Had a nightmare with the no7 one, stinging and streaming red eyes so that's out.

I'm using simple at the moment which is okay

The Boots own brand Cucumber eye make up remover is excellent

Camomile one from the bodyshop. No stings ever (but then confess the no. 7 one doesn't sting either). The camomile one is exceptionally mild though

I came on to highly recommend the Clarins one, but it's probably about the same price as your Clinique.

lovely, thanks! Will give them a go. Can't really justify spending £12 on the Clinique stuff at the moment!

The only one I've ever got on with has been Boots Botanics. Shifts waterproof mascara even and doesn't make my eyes sore.

I second the thoughts of spicemonster - I'm amazed at what the bodyshop remover can shift, because it feels so gentle.

Vaseline. Leaves your lashes all silky too, v.v. cheap and great for lips too.

i was going to say olive oil or baby oil works a treat but yes can leave a bit of residue but if you take your eye makeup off with it and then use your normal cleanser for the rest of your face its fine. you don't feel glam or very special though, just smug in your money saving capabilities!

simple?

Oil Of Olay make-up remover is good.
