Help me find a lovely post-BF bra to make my 38DDs look great

DS is not feeding as much in the day so I'm off to town tomorrow to get a lovely underwired bra. Still got big boobs so may as well make them look great while they last...

It needs to go under a square-necked dress cut quite low at the corners so maybe a balcony type bra? Anything that doesn't show two big triangles of nursing bra will be great. And smooth so it doesn't show through.

The catch is it has to be from M&S, House of Fraser or Debenhams as that's all my local town has.

Is it impossible? Can any bigger-boobed MNers recommend their favourite bras?

I don't get on very well with M&S (34G). I think your best bet to be honest is Bravissimo, ordcer a few styles and then try on at home under the outfit you want to wear.

Mrsmalumbas Agree with you about M&S based on past experience. Unfortunately I need to wear the dress to a do on Sunday so mail order out. Am hoping to get something good enough rather than perfect - expecting the puppies to shrink when feeding stops completely and with a bit more weight loss, so will shop for dream bras then. Won't be requesting the services of the M&S fitters either .

And ta for bump PuzzYuleLogs.

PS Am so between sizes and different in different brands/styles that I would have to order about 6 of each style so I will eventually go to one of the Bravissimo shops for a massive trying on session.

Try Debenhams or Bravissimo. I like Fantasie bras. You need to try a few different brands to see which suit your shape.

MissisBoot · 05/12/2008 18:09

Try fantasie They're stocked in house of fraser and debenhams. Thye give an excellent shape. I don't wear anything else now.

i've got this is fab and i do wear fairly low cut tops. i don't have much cleavage and sometimes fall out of balcony styles, this is really flattering and comfortable.

littleoldme · 05/12/2008 18:34

I've only got one thing to say to you. Bravissimo.

Lastyearsmodel · 05/12/2008 20:34

Thanks everyone. Will look for Fantasie bras and save serious cash for a trip to Bravissimo.

They have a sale on figleaves atm

rozzyraspberry · 05/12/2008 21:27

I got a few nice balcony ones in Debenhams. I'm in a similar position to you in that ds3 is only feeding 3 times a day now so wanted some nicer bras but didn't want to spend too much since my boobs will probably shrink further(disappear?) when I stop bf. I'm much happier now I have some underwired bras - give you such a better shape

Underwire update - Got a lovely Freya balcony-style bra from House of Fraser in their sale. DP so pleased he has written my new size down and is going online bra shopping for Christmas. Will tell him about figleaves sale. I know he'll want to study the styles very, very carefully .
