Links of London sweetie bracelet sizing

I really like the Links of London silver sweetie bracelets and have asked DH for one for Xmas. (Disclaimer - I do know some people might consider them a bit naff!)

I'm not sure whether to go for small or medium and wondered if anyone could advise me on the sizing of these?

I have a lovelinks bracelet which is 19cm long (I think this was on the smaller end of their range) and this is a good fit i.e. reasonably loose but doesn't go right down over my hand which I find really annoying whilst I'm working.

i have medium, which felt a wee bit tight at first, but is perfect now. they do have a bit of give in them

Lulumama, do you have any measurement for your medium as Links website is really minimal on detail or do you have any other bracelets where you know the chain size?

I reckon I've got the medium but not sure

Measurements from their site are Small (150mm), Medium (160mm) or Large (170mm)

so I guess I need to know amount of give... What are they strung on - I know it is stretchy. Should I experiment with a real candy bracelet do you think?

Or can anyone advise of a real life stockist in Manxhester, Leeds or Sheffield?

It is stretchy - silver hoops on strong elastic

There's a Links in Selfridges, Manchester Trafford Centre. My 13 yr old DD has the sweetie bracelet, she is tiny but the small one was still quite close-fitting - and it 'nipped' her skin a couple of times. They can re-string for you when this happens and even add extra links. We had hers re-strung to make it a bit looser and had a few gold links, about 5 or so in a row, added (some of her charms are mixed silver/gold so mixing the metals in the links looked fine)

I got a medium (even though i have relatively small wrists) and thought it was a bit tight so went back and they said not to change it as they stretch. They also gave me a few extra links (free) in case I needed them as they said they restring them every year but if you have to add links they often charge. I got it for my birthday and lost it after a few months and so am now getting another one for Christmas!!
