Duo boots, are they worth the money?

I would love a pair of knee high black boots, but standard high street boots don't fit my chunky calves. I was checking out the duo boots website, like the look of them but a bit pricey. Would pay that if thought they would last years. Any experience of duo boots from MNers?

Yes, I have several pairs, good quality, comfortable and last well. Their Sale normally starts in February.

I love mine; they're on their second year and lasting really well.

They do last- my only criticism is that I think the soles could be chunkier in some styles.
The high heeled boots are great, but I have a couple of flat ones as well from them and actually feel they look a bit frumpy- but this is style, not quality we are talking about!

I don't think they are THAT pricey- Clarks etc are around £90 and some of Duos are £100- £120.

Carries, have you tried those Hobbs elastic sided boots, they are brill. Bit pricey but they do last.

Brown ones are on sale!

I've had two pairs of duo boots. Great quality. I've worn one pair very heavily.

Evans also have wider calf fittings - don't know what the quality is like though.
