My bf has not long finished her last round of chemo for Leukeamia (spelling???). One of the things that has got her down is that the chemo has really dried her skin out and she is feeling v old at 37 - does anyone know of a really good face cream that is good for really dry/aging skin - I don't mind about cost (although perhaps not creme de la mer standards!) as I want to get her something really nice for Christmas!

I love the super defense cream from clinique. It is quite luxurious. Makes my skin feel lovely and an be put on as well as normal face cream. I bought my sister the clinique body butter when she was suffering from the horrible side effects of chemo. She liked that too!!

Thanks to bothof you - I shall have a little trip down to John Lewis tomorrow with my list to try themout and make a decison. Had a look at the Liz earle stuff online GGirls - it does look absoutely lovely but I too love that Clinique bodybutter!

The L'occitane face cream is lovely and very moisturising as well as fairly simple - her skin may be very sensitive still.

The Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream is very good for dry skin, but is more of an overnight intensive thing than a day cream
