At the point where they are cracking and bleeding . Washing hands constantly because of DS and nothing I've tried seems to help....help!

Nutrogena concentrated norwegian formula stuff is fab. And non greasy.

Twice a day to start and then just once at bedtime

I'd recommend Aveeno hand cream to everyone - tis brilliant

I have the same problem. My hands are horrible, like an old woman's, and they get much worse during the cold weather. The best cream I have used is this from the body shop good hand cream It doesn't leave my hands feeling all hot and sore like some heavy duty creams do.

sarsums · 29/11/2008 13:17

Agree that Aveeno is also very good!

Diprobase is good on prescription. Neutrogena is good but don't mix it with alcohol hand gel ever (even some time apart) as it goes horrible and soapy all over your hands.

widgypog · 29/11/2008 13:19

body shop hemp is the only one that works for me

honestfriend · 29/11/2008 13:28

good old Atrixo is one I keep going back to.
Wearing cotton gloves at night might help too, with loads of hand cream on first.

i too have horrible cracked hands. i have tried literally hundreds of hand creams and one of the best i have found is a cheap superdrug one. in a blue tube. its called cincentrated hand balm and is about £2.49.

for my cracks, i put aqeuous cream on at night and cover it with a bit of micropore tape. it softens up and doesnt hurt as much
